NAT Gateway

NAT Gateway is a network cloud service that supports IP address translation, and can provide Network Address Translation for computing instances in a VPC (Virtual Private Cloud). It is divided into two functions of SNAT and DNAT. Through SNAT, multiple ECSs can share EIP to access the Internet. Through DNAT, multiple ECSs can provide Internet services. The NAT Gateway is the ingress and egress of the Internet traffic in the VPC, which protects the private network information from being directly exposed on the Internet.

Product Advantages

Flexible Deployment

The specification, bandwidth and the Internet IP of the NAT Gateway can be configured as per use. Users can deploy on demand based on service requirements.

Easy to Use

A variety of gateway specifications can be flexibly selected. After simple configuration of the NAT Gateway, it can be used immediately with simple O&M, rapid issuance, use out of the box and stable and reliable operation.

Lower Cost

EIP is shared by multiple computing resources. Users do not need to purchase extra EIP and bandwidth resources for computing instances to access the Internet, effectively reducing costs.

Visualized O&M

Combined with EIP, perform active O&M for the inbound and outbound traffic in a visualized manner. Discover network bottlenecks in time to ensure business continuity and simplify O&M.

Scenarios

< >
  • Cloud Network Ingress, Providing Internet Services
  • Building Cloud Network Egress of VPC
Scenario
  • With the DNAT port-level conversion function of the NAT Gateway, cloud resources can easily provide services to Internet, which can save a large number of EIPs and protect the network structure of the private network on the cloud.
Product Advantages
  • It is safe and reliable and protects the private network information from being directly exposed on the Internet.
  • Users do not need to purchase extra EIP and bandwidth resources for computing instances to access the Internet. Multiple computing instances share EIP, thereby effectively reducing costs.

More Resource

Virtual Private Cloud

Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) provides users with a logically isolated area to build a secure, reliable, configurable, and managed virtual network environment. You can apply for elastic bandwidth /EIP, create subnets, set security groups, and configure DHCP.

Elastic IP

Elastic IP (EIP) is a public IP address service that can be separately requested, including a public IP address and Internet egress bandwidth service.
