Document Database Service

Document Database Service is an online non-relational database service based on the cloud computing platform, featuring out-of-the-box, stable and reliable, safe operation and autoscaling. It is fully compatible with the MongoDB protocol and has three types of instances: shard cluster, replica set (including three-node, five-node, and seven-node), and stand-alone version, which provides backup, recovery, scaling, monitoring, and other database services.

Quick Creation

Document Database Service can be deployed quickly, with a simple configuration of subscriptions, which only requires a few minutes of waiting time to complete the creation of the document database target instance.

Overall Monitoring

Document Database Service provides a variety of monitoring data, including CPU, memory, disk, IOPS, connection count, network traffic, TPS, QPS, etc., which gives you full visibility into the running status of your instance services.

Easy O&M

Through the Management Console, you can quickly complete the instance restart, database backup, data recovery, and other high-frequency requirements, to achieve one-click operation.

Auto Failover

In Replica Set mode, a highly available multi-node replica set is automatically built. When the Primary node fails, a new Primary node is automatically elected to take over the service.

The product has a highly reliable architecture with multi-node replica sets and shard clusters and can be deployed across availability zones, storing data in multiple replicas.

Data Backup

Document Database Service supports physical hot backup capability under both automatic backup and manual backup policies, which is faster and less disruptive to business compared to cold backup, with less impact on the business.

Data Recovery

You can restore backup data to the current instance with one click, that is, restore the specified backup data overwriting to the primary instance, which poses certain risks.

Network Isolation

The product instance runs in a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), isolated from other tenants to ensure data security.

Features
Backup Management Document database provides data backup (automatic backup and manual backup) capabilities, in case of database failure or data corruption, you can restore the database through backup, so as to ensure the reliability of data.
Parameter Group Management Users can create up to 20 of their own parameter groups for document database instances, in order to configure them specifically for different production environments and save different parameter settings for tuning. Go to Document Database Service -> Parameter Group Management tab to view the parameter group you have created.
View Log Information You can view error log information (this product provides three levels of log display: warning, error, and fatal) and slow query log information of the instance.
View Monitoring Information In order to facilitate users to view and monitor the running status of the instance, the Document Database Service node information provides a variety of performance metrics.
Failover In Multi-Node Replica Set mode, the Primary and Secondary nodes provide services. When the Primary node fails, a new Primary node is automatically elected to take over the service.
