You can create tasks after logging in in Admin account. Vulnerability Scanner tasks are divided into: Assessment Task, Password Guess Task, Web Application Scanning and Configuration Scanning.
Taking creating a new Assessment Task towards IPs as target as an example.
Step 1: Choose New Task.
Step 2: Click Assessment Task, select IP at "Scan Target", and input the IP address of the target to be scanned.
Step 3: When assigning an immediate assessment task, the setting of parameters is shown in the following table.
Parameter | Description |
Scan Target | Scan the IP address and domain name of the target, or import through file import and asset tree. |
Task Name | After the scanning target is determined, the system will automatically define it in the task name, and users can also customize the task name. |
Execution Mode | Instant: indicates that the task will be executed immediately after you complete the configuration. This is applicable where network security assessment should be immediately conducted. Scheduled: indicates that the task will be executed as scheduled. This is applicable where network security assessment should be conducted during off hours. Daily, Weekly, Monthly (date), or Monthly (day of the week): indicates that the task will be executed repeatedly as scheduled. This is applicable where network security assessment should be conducted regularly (daily, weekly, or monthly). Advanced configuration: indicates that the task will be executed repeatedly as scheduled. You can set the cycle lengths and specify multiple scanning cycles by clicking Add. |

Full Agent Scan | After the Agent is installed on the target device, it reports some information of the target device to the Vulnerability Scanner service every 4 hours. When "Full Agent Scan" is enabled, only the latest reported information will be scanned for vulnerabilities. |
Login Check | Check Enable and configure host authentication information for pre-login or configuration check of the target host. |
Password Guess | After password guessing is enabled, password detection will be performed on the scanning target according to the contents in the password dictionary. |
Scanning Time Frame | Regardless of the execution mode, a scanning task can only be executed within this time period. |
Scheduling Priority | Determine the order of executing tasks according to the scheduling priority value and background algorithm. |
Task Report | Keep the default settings. |
