Manage Namespace

4.1.5.1 Overview

A namespace is a logical concept for managing image repositories.

4.1.5.2 Creating a Namespace

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Namespace.

4.      Click the Create Namespace button on the page.

5.      Fill in the namespace name.

6.      Choose whether to Auto Create Repository, i.e., whether an image repository is automatically created when pushing an image ( docker push ). When Auto Create Repository is set to On, select the Default Repository Type, which is the type of repository that is automatically created. If set to Public, it can be pulled anonymously. Please be cautious when setting this.

7.      Choose whether to Enable Image Acceleration, i.e., whether to enable the image acceleration feature to reduce the time it takes to pull images and start applications. When Enable Image Acceleration is set to On, images uploaded to this namespace will automatically generate an accelerated image edition with an "accelerated" suffix.

8.      Click Create.

9.      Once created successfully, it will appear in the namespace list

 

4.1.5.3 Modifying Namespace Configuration

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Namespace.

4.      For a specific namespace, you can modify the Enable Image Acceleration and Auto Create Repository options. When Auto Create Repository is set to On, you can change the Default Repository Type to Public / Private.

 

4.1.5.4 Deleting a Namespace

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Namespace.

4.      Click the Delete button in the row of the namespace you want to delete, then check I confirm the deletion of this namespace and click Confirm to delete the namespace. ( Note: Deleting a namespace will delete all the image repositories under it and this is irreversible. Please proceed with caution.)

 

Image Repository Management

4.1.6.1 Overview

An image repository belongs to a specific namespace. A single image repository, supporting multiple image editions.

4.1.6.2 Creating an Image Repository

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Image Repository.

4.      Click the Create Repository button.

5.      Select the namespace for the image repository, then fill out the name and summary information for the image repository. If the Repository Type is set to Public, it can be pulled anonymously. Please be cautious when setting this. You can choose whether to Enable Image Acceleration.

6.      Click Create.


4.1.6.3 Viewing the Image Edition List

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Image Repository.

4.      Click the name of the image repository you wish to view.

5.      The details page will display the edition information of the image repository.

 

4.1.6.4 Deleting Image Editions

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Image Repository.

4.      Click the name of the image repository you wish to view.

5.      Click the Delete button next to the edition you want to delete, then click Confirm.

4.1.6.5 Modifying Image Repository Attributes

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Image Repository.

4.      Click the Edit button on the right of the image repository you want to modify.

5.      In the pop-up dialog box, modify the properties of the image repository. Currently, you can modify the Repository Type, Enable Image Acceleration, and Summary.

6.      Click Update to complete the modification.

4.1.6.6 Deleting an Image Repository

1.      Access the Cloud Container Repository console.

2.      Click the name of the activated instance.

3.      In the left navigation pane, select Container Image – Image Repository.

4.      Click the Delete button on the right side of the image repository you want to remove.

5.      In the pop-up box, click Confirm to complete the deletion. (Note: The deletion operation is irreversible. Please proceed with caution.)
