Cloud Container Service Engine (CCSE)

Limitations

2025-07-11 01:46:19

Before using the eSurfing Cloud CCSE product, please note the following usage restrictions:

  • Before purchasing a CCSE instance, you need to register an eSurfing Cloud account.

  • After a CCSE cluster is created, the following actions are not supported:

Changing the cluster VPC; changing the container network plug-in; migrating applications across different namespaces.

Restrictions on ECS instances in CCSE clusters are as follows:

  • Due to quota and inventory limitations of underlying products such as ECS, when creating, scaling or autoscaling a cluster, you may only successfully create some of the nodes.

  • ECS quota and inventory limitations may result in creation failures, so annual or monthly instances created cannot be released and can only be added to existing clusters for use.

  • ECS specification requirements: CPU with 4 or more cores, and memory of 8 GiB or more.

Note: The maximum number of pods per node applies only to Calico network mode and cannot be increased upon request. If a cluster uses Cubecni network, the maximum number of pods per node is determined by the total number of assignable IPs of that node.
