Before using the eSurfing Cloud CCSE product, please note the following usage restrictions:
Before purchasing a CCSE instance, you need to register an eSurfing Cloud account.
After a CCSE cluster is created, the following actions are not supported:
Changing the cluster VPC; changing the container network plug-in; migrating applications across different namespaces.
Restrictions on ECS instances in CCSE clusters are as follows:
Due to quota and inventory limitations of underlying products such as ECS, when creating, scaling or autoscaling a cluster, you may only successfully create some of the nodes.
ECS quota and inventory limitations may result in creation failures, so annual or monthly instances created cannot be released and can only be added to existing clusters for use.
ECS specification requirements: CPU with 4 or more cores, and memory of 8 GiB or more.
CCSE Cluster Quota Limitations
Cluster Type | Maximum Clusters per Account | Maximum Number of Nodes per Cluster | Maximum Number of Pods per Node | Exception Application Method |
CCSE Proprietary | No restrictions | 1000 | 128 | Not Applicable |
Note: The maximum number of pods per node applies only to Calico network mode and cannot be increased upon request. If a cluster uses Cubecni network, the maximum number of pods per node is determined by the total number of assignable IPs of that node.
