Auto Scaling (AS) is a policy-based managerial service for auto-regulating elastic computing resources upon user's requirements. AS will automatically regulate the number of ECSs in an AS group and automatically add or reduce the instances of ECSs in case of a rising and falling business respectively, so that repeated manual regulation of resources in response to changing business and heavy workload at peaks will be alleviated to greatly save the resources and labor costs.
