This section introduces the precautions and procedures for canceling your account.

To initiate account cancelation, go to Management Center > My Center, first close your account, and then cancel it.

Precautions

1.        After applying for account cancelation, you will be required to complete an account check. Once the check is passed, the account cancelation request will be confirmed, and the account will enter a 48-hour closure period. During this period, you will not be able to manually terminate the process or restore account functionality.

2.        After the closure period, the account enters a 90-day retention period, during which you can click Restore account to manually terminate the cancelation process and restore account functionality. Once the retention period expires, the account will be automatically canceled and cannot be reopened.

3.        During the closure and retention periods, you can perform regular operations such as logging in to the eSurfing Cloud portal, viewing account information, and accessing historical billing information. However, business operations such as recharge, subscription, withdrawal, ordering, and account modification are not available.

4.        If you are no longer using your eSurfing Cloud account, you can manually cancel the account immediately after the account enters the retention period. Once the account is canceled, you will no longer be able to log in to eSurfing Cloud with that account, and all data associated with the account will be permanently deleted. Please proceed with caution.

Closing the Account

1.        Log in to the eSurfing Cloud website. On the home page, go to Me > Personal Center.

2.        On the My Center page, click Basic information and click Close account to initiate the account closure process.

3.        Carefully read the terms and conditions for closing the account. Confirm that you have read and accepted the "eSurfing Cloud Account Cancelation Terms" and choose the reason for closing the account.

4.        Proceed to the Account check page. The system will automatically perform the account check, financial inspection, and order and resource check. The results of the checks will be displayed on the page.

Note: If the account check has been previously conducted but the account was not closed, click on View the last inspection result on the My Center page to view the previous check results.

5.        Take appropriate action based on the check results:

Ÿ   If the check fails: Follow the onscreen instructions to process the failed items. After completing the necessary steps, recheck the account.

Ÿ   If the check is passed: Click Confirm closing account and proceed with identity verification. Once the verification is successful, the account will enter a 48-hour closure period. After the closure period ends, the account will enter a 90-day retention period.

Note: If you need to continue using the account after closing it, return to My Center page after the account enters the retention period and click Restore account to regain access to the account.

Canceling the Account

1.        Go to Management Center > My Center.

2.        Click Restore account at the bottom of the page. The system will prompt you to confirm the cancelation.

3.        Once confirmed, the account will be canceled, and you will be logged out. You will no longer be able to log in to that account again.
