I. Pay-as-you-go billing

  • The billing of ICDN involves three parts: Network traffic (or bandwidth) + Dynamic requests + Static HTTPS requests

Network traffic (or bandwidth) includes: Billing by traffic or billing by daily peak bandwidth. You can choose either of the two billing modes.

Dynamic requests: All dynamic requests, including HTTP and HTTPS dynamic requests, are charged.

Number of static HTTPS requests: If a domain name uses HTTPS, static HTTPS requests are also be charged.

  • Upload acceleration uses edge uplink traffic (or bandwidth) for billing.

  • WebSocket acceleration uses edge downlink traffic (or bandwidth) for billing.

1. ICDN billed by Bandwidth

Basic description: Billing by daily peak bandwidth means to count a peak bandwidth value every 5 minutes. Every day, 288 values are obtained, of which the maximum value is taken for settlement.

Billing rule

Billing item: Peak Bandwidth

Billing direction: Downlink

Payment method: Payment by volume

Billing rule: The step arrival mode is adopted and billing is based on the specified unit price.

Billing period: Settlement is made on a daily basis and the fee is deducted in real time (after 00:00 every day, the bill of the previous day is issued and the fee is deducted. The specific billing time is subject to the system).

Billing scenario: The billing mode is applicable to users whose domain name traffic curve is steady and bandwidth utilization is higher than 30% in a whole day.

Example of billing by daily peak bandwidth

Billing by bandwidth adopts the tiered billing mode.

2. ICDN billed by Traffic

Basic description: Billing is based on the traffic tiered price and the excess is accumulated in the current month (a natural month is used as a cumulative cycle).

Billing rule

  • Traffic package: The package can offset downlink traffic of the ICDN domain name and non-WebSocket traffic generated by the WebSocket accelerated domain name.

  • Static HTTPS request package: When the HTTPS acceleration service is enabled, the package can offset static HTTPS requests.

  • Dynamic request package: The package can offset dynamic requests for ICDN acceleration.

  • Upload acceleration traffic package: The package can offset the uplink traffic of the upload accelerated domain name.

  • WebSocket traffic package: The package can offset the WebSocket traffic generated by the WebSocket accelerated domain name

  • Payment method: Prepayment

  • Billing period: Settlement is made on a daily basis and consumed resources are deducted from the resource package.

  • Term: 1 year

Notes

1. Use conditions:

  • You can purchase any resource package as needed.

  • Only the domain names configured with upload acceleration can offset the traffic in the upload acceleration traffic package.

  • Only the domain names that are configured with WebSocket acceleration and use the WebSocket protocol can offset the traffic in the WebSocket traffic package.

  • The domain names that are configured with WebSocket acceleration but do not use the WebSocket protocol offset the ICDN traffic package, dynamic request package and static HTTPS request package.

  • If customers that adopt billing by "daily peak bandwidth", "upload acceleration bandwidth" and “WebSocket bandwidth" need to use the corresponding traffic packages, they need to change the billing modes into "daily traffic", "upload acceleration traffic" and“WebSocket traffic" respectively.

2. Multiple subscription is supported: When multiple traffic packages of the same type are purchased, the deduction sequence is based on the expiration dates of traffic packages and validity periods are not superposed.

3.  Unsubscribing is not supported. After a resource package is successfully ordered, unsubscribing and refund are not supported; after a resource package expires, the unused resources are reset automatically and carry-over is not supported.

4. Term: A resource package is valid for one year after it is successfully purchased. After a resource package is used up or the validity period ends, the billing mode is automatically changed into volume-based billing.

5.Renewal: To guarantee service stability, purchase a resource package in time before the "resource package is used up" or the“validity period ends".

Notices

  • Bandwidth utilization = Actual used traffic value (GB)/(Peak bandwidth value (Mbps) x 10.54). The traffic generated by 1 Mbps bandwidth every day is about 10.54 GB when the utilization is 100%.

  • The traffic charged by the CDN is higher than that recorded in the log. This is because the traffic recorded in the CDN log is the traffic counted by the application layer log. However, the consumption of TCP/IP headers and TCP retransmission consumption in actual network requests is 7% to 15% higher than the traffic counted by the application layer. Therefore, according to the industry standard, the billing data used in bills will rise by 10% on the basis of monitoring data on the console.

  • If your monthly consumption amount of CDN is larger than RMB 100,000 yuan, eSurfing Cloud CDN can provide a more flexible and preferential monthly billing mode. You can submit a work order or dial the customer service hotline starting with 400.
