Operation Scenarios
After creating a private image, users can export the image file for local use or export it and then upload it to another resource pool for use.
Prerequisites
lThe remaining capacity of the selected ZOS bucket must be larger than the image size.
lThe current resource pool must support ZOS, and the user must have created a ZOS bucket.
lFull-machine images do not support export.
Procedure
1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Console.
2. Click at the top of the Console to select a region (Hong Kong 2 used as an example).
3. In the left navigation pane, choose Compute > IMS.
4. On the Image list page, go to the More dropdown form under the Operation column of the target private image. Click Export to enter the Export Image page.
5. Enter the storage name. It is the image file name in ZOS, which can be specified by the user.
6. Select a ZOS bucket from the storage path dropdown box.
7. Click OK to start exporting the image.
Next Steps
1. After export completes, view the image in the corresponding ZOS bucket.
2. In the ZOS bucket, find the image, and click Download under the Operation column to save the image file locally.
