Renewals Before Expirations
Manual renewal: For annual/monthly subscriptions of distributed cache services, if you renew a resource before expiration, you can extend the expiration time of the original resource and prevent it from being frozen after expiration or reclaimed by the system after the grace period. For details, please refer to Renewal Management - Manual Renewal in the Billing Center.
Automatic Renewal only applies to monthly/yearly resources. For details, please refer to Renewal Management - Automatic Renewal in Billing Center.
Upon Expiration
Upon expiration, the Distributed Message Service (Kafka) will enter a grace period, and you cannot access or use eSurfing Cloud DMS (Kafka) normally. Launched instances are retained.
If you renew your subscription within 15 days after the expiration date, the new cycle is calculated from your renewal time.
If you do not renew your subscription within 15 days after expiration, your Kafka instances are released.
Reasons for Overdue Payments
In the pay-as-you-go mode, the account balance is insufficient.
Rules for Freezing Overdue Resources
When the payment becomes overdue, the resources enter the grace period, and you cannot access or use the Distributed Message Service (Kafka) normally. Launched instances are retained.
* If you recharge your account during the grace period, the system automatically deducts the overdue amount.
* If you do not recharge your account after the grace period, the Kafka instances are released.
Viewing Overdue Bills
You can check your overdue details or your bills. For details, see Documentation & Billing Center - Bills - View Bills.
Recharge
To prevent the relevant resources from being stopped or released, remember to recharge your account in time. To prevent the account from entering the Overdue state, you must complete the overdue payments within the given time. For detailed operations, see Billing Center - Renewal Management - Online Recharge.
