Cloud Server Backup Service (CSBS)

You can back up an entire ECS, and conduct crash-consistent backup for the ECS. (The backups of multiple EVSs in the ECS are created at the same time; However, if applications and file systems are not frozen before backup, memory data is not backed up). This feature is not supported by VBS.

Backup Mode: Support manual backup and automatic policy-based backup. You can select the backup mode as per use;

Backup Policy: Support the selection of multiple points in time for backup during 24 hours a day, the selection of backup periods by day, week or user-defined days, and the selection of three ways of backup retention by time, by quantity, and permanently.

Backup Management: Users can view the status of each backup task through the backup task list, view the backup information through the backup list, and perform bulk management of the backed up data.

Backup Recovery

Both full and incremental backups can quickly and conveniently recover the data of the ECS to the status at the time of creating the backup copy. You can restore data or apply for a new host for backup recovery. If you recover the data, the backup data will be restored to the original host, overwriting the current host data. If you apply for a new host, host data can be migrated. The system will create an ECS with consistent data.

ackup Security:

CSBS combines ECS and OOS to automatically encrypt and back up ECS data to object storage, ensuring high security of backup data. Disk data backup is automatically encrypted.
