Through the backup policy, you can periodically back up the ECS according to certain policy requirements, so that the ECS can quickly recover data when data is lost or damaged, thereby ensuring the normal operation of busines

Background Information

If the ECS is backed up periodically through the backup policy, the system will automatically back up the bound server and periodically delete expired backups according to the policy only when the backup policy is enabled.

The name of the backup automatically generated according to the backup policy is "autobk_xxxx".

Operation Steps

Select Storage > ECS Backup Policy in the product list;

Set backup policy Descriptions of parameters:

After the setting is complete, click OK to complete the creation of the backup policy.

In the backup policy details area, click Bind ECS;

Check the ECS to be bound in the server list. It will be displayed in the area of selected servers.

If the selected ECS has been bound to another backup policy, after selecting the new backup policy, the ECS will be automatically unbound from the original backup policy and bound to the new backup policy;

Only servers that are Running or Shut Down can be selected.

Click OK.
