Background
Vhosts, used as logical isolation, manage their own exchanges, queues, and bindings, allowing applications to run securely on different Vhosts without interfering with each other. There can be multiple Vhosts under one instance, and several exchanges and queues in one Vhost. Producer and consumer need to specify a Vhost to connect to the DMS RabbitMQ version.
Create a Vhost
(1) Log in to the management console.
(2) Go to the RabbitMQ console.
(3) In the operation column of the instance list page, click Manage in the target instance row.
(4) Click Cluster Management, and click Vhost to reach the Vhost management page, then click New button.
(5) Click New and the following creation page will appear, enter the Vhost name and click OK.
Note: The following requirements apply when setting the Vhost name:
l Vhost name can only contain letters, numbers, dashes (-) and underscores (_).
l The length of the Vhost name is limited to 1~64 characters.
