Modifying a Multicast Domain

Scenarios

If no members have joined the current domain, you can add new multicast groups and specify group IP addresses by modifying the multicast domain.

If members already exist, you can add new members to a specified multicast group by modifying the multicast domain.

Prerequisites

Register an eSurfing Cloud account and complete real name authentication. For specific operations, please refer to eSurfing Cloud Account Registration Process.

Procedure

1.    Log in to the Console.

2.    Click  on the upper left corner of the Console page and select the Region. HongKong2 is selected in this case.

3.    In the left navigation bar, select multicast .

4.    On the multicast operation page, select the target multicast domain and click operation modifying.

5.    Follow the prompts on the modification page to modify the information in the target multicast domain.

Member   Join Method

The   member join method can be switched only before members join. Once multicast   members have joined, the join method cannot be changed. Once a multicast   group is created, its address cannot be modified. After multicast members   have joined, members within the same multicast group can be modified.
