Scenario
RocketMQ displays online consumer instances for the following purposes:
l Monitoring consumer status: You can monitor the status of online consumers in real time. This enables you to learn about consumer connection status, consumption progress, and consumption rate of consumers to discover exceptions or failures for prompt response and adjustment.
l Troubleshooting and tracing: This helps to locate the causes of a message consumption failure. You can view the consumption status of consumer instances, including the number of consumed messages and consumption delay, for convenient troubleshooting and fault position.
To sum up, you can use the displayed online consumer instances to monitor their status and troubleshoot faults, greatly supporting the stable operation of the system.
Procedure
1. On the eSurfing Cloud official website, click Control Center and select RocketMQ.
2. Log in to the DMS RocketMQ console and click Region in the upper right corner to select the corresponding resource pool.
Go to the instance list and click Manage to enter the management menu.
3. On the menu, you can view information of the consumer groups on the specified broker in the cluster.
4. Click Connect Instance. You can view the list of consumer instances currently online for this consumer group.
5. Click Number of Accumulated Messages. You can see the number of messages that have not been consumed for a given topic.
