Restriction and Limitations

· The remote login function is accessible from the system-configured custom port. Therefore, when using the remote login function, ensure that the port you want to use is not blocked by the firewall. For example, when the remote login link is "xxx:8002", ensure that port 8002 is not blocked by the firewall.

· If the client operating system uses a local proxy and the firewall port for the proxy cannot be configured, disable the proxy mode before using the remote login function.

· In GPU instances, some instances do not support the remote login function on the console operation page. Users must install the VNC Server to log in to these instances. We recommend that you log in to GPU cloud server With MSTSC.

Logging in to the Windows-based GPU cloud server

1. Log in to the console.

2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Service List, and select Compute > Elastic Cloud Server.

3. Get the password of the GPU cloud server. You must know the password to log in to the GPU cloud server with VNC, and then log in with VNC.

· If your ECS uses the password for authentication, log in to the server with the password set when you create the cloud server.

· If your ECS uses the key for authentication, prepare the Windows login key in advance.

4. Select the GPU cloud server you want to log in to, click Remote Login in the Operation column.

5. In the Log In to Windows-based ECS window that appears, select the VNC mode under Other Modes and click Login Now.

6. (Optional) If the message asking you to "Press Ctrl+Alt+DEL to unlock" is displayed on the login page, click Send CtrlAltDel in the upper right corner of the remote login operation panel.

7. (Optional) If the cursor is not displayed on the remote login page, check whether the Local Cursor button is displayed at the top of the panel. Click Local Cursor to normally display the cursor.

8. Enter the password for the GPU cloud server as instructed on the screen and log in to the GPU cloud server.
