As a kind of ECS instance specifications, a GPU cloud server maintains the same operations as ECS instances. You may encounter various problems with using the GPU cloud server, such as remote connection, expanding EVS, and creating a snapshot.

Limitations

· For precautions on the use of a GPU cloud server, see Notice for Use.

· For limitations of resource rules on the use of a GPU cloud server, see Limitations.

Create and Manage GPU Cloud Servers

· You can manage the lifecycle of a GPU cloud server in the following steps:

Create a GPU Cloud Server

Connect a GPU Cloud Server

Stop a GPU Cloud Server

Release a GPU Cloud Server

· If the current specification or network configuration of the GPU cloud server does not meet your business needs, you can Change Configuration for the GPU cloud server.

Manage Billing Rules

· You can renew your subscription to cloud servers in yearly and monthly subscription billing mode:

Auto Renewal

Manual Renewal

· Switch the billing method of cloud servers:

Switch Between Pay-as-you-go and Subscription-based

Create and Manage EVS

You can use an EVS disk as a data disk in the following steps:

1. Create an EVS.

2. Mount an EVS.

3. Initialize a Data Disk.

4. Create snapshot and backup data. For more information, see Create an EVS Snapshot.

5. If the capacity of an EVS cannot meet your business needs, you can Expand an EVS.

6. If an error occurs to the EVS data, you can roll the EVS back to a certain point in time with the EVS snapshot. For more information, see Snapshot Rollback.

7. Unmount a Data Disk.

Create and Manage an EVS Snapshot

You can use an EVS snapshot in the following steps:

1. Create a snapshot, automatically or manually:

· Create an EVS Snapshot.

· Regularly and automatically create a snapshot based on the auto snapshot policy. For more information, see Enable or Disable Auto Snapshot Policy.

1. View Snapshot Used Capacity.

A snapshot is commonly applied in the following scenarios:

· You can roll an EVS back with a snapshot to restore data. For more information, see Snapshot Rollback.

· You can create multiple EVS disks with same data using a snapshot for rapid business deployment. For more information, see Create an EVS from Snapshot.
