The subscription-based KMS is available in Basic Edition and Enterprise Edition. This section describes how to purchase KMS.
Before You Begin
You have registered an eSurfing Cloud account and completed the real-name verification.
Specification Restrictions
Basic Edition provides software protection service and allows customers to build their dedicated keystores for high scalability, and extremely simple cryptographic operation APIs for secure and fast application integrations.
It provides hardware protection services by using cryptographic devices certified by China's State Cryptography Administration at the bottom layer to provide resource management and cryptographic operation services with higher security and compliance levels, meeting the testing and certification criteria of regulators.
The default computing performance for the Basic and Enterprise Editions is 2,000 QPS, and the default key computing performance is 1,000 QPS.
You can create up to 2,000 keys and 1,000 certificates for the Basic Edition and Enterprise Edition.
Operation Steps
1. Go to and log in to eSurfing Cloud Portal. In the product navigation bar, locate Security and Management, and click Key Management.
2. Go to the KMS details page and click Activate Now.
3. Go to the KMS subscription page, select the service edition and service region, set the subscription time, and confirm the parameter configuration. Read the eSurfing Cloud Key Management Service Agreement, check "I have read and agreed to the eSurfing Cloud Key Management Service Agreement", and click Buy Now.
4. Go to the Order Details page, confirm the payment amount, and click Pay Now.
5. After order payment, you can view the order status on the Order Details page. After the status is updated to Completed, the service is activated.
6. After the service is activated, you can go to the KMS console to create resources.
