Manage Application Access Points

This section introduces how to manage application access points on the KMS console.

Create an Application Access Point

1.       Log in to the KMS console.

2.       In the navigation bar on the top of the page, select the area where the service is located.

3.       Go to the Application Access Point page and click Create Application Access Point.

4.       In the dialog box that is displayed, configure the access point as prompted.

Configuration Item Description

Parameter

Description

Application Access   Point Name

l  Custom   name.

 

Enterprise Project

Select the associated   Enterprise Project.

Virtual Private Cloud

Select a Virtual   Private Cloud (VPC) in the current region.

Remarks: This VPC is   the one where your application is located, that is, the VPC to be connected   with KMS.

Subnet

Select a subnet within   the VPC.


5.       After the access point is created, you can view the corresponding information in the application access point list.

 

Delete an Application Access Point

If an application access point is no longer needed, you can delete it in the list operation column.

Create Access Credentials (AK/SK)

After an application access point is created, you need to create an AK/SK under the application access point. When calling the KMS, you need to import the AK/SK for authentication.

1.       In the operation column of the Application Access Point list page, click Manage AccessKey.

2.       On the AccessKey list page, click Create AccessKey.

3.       After the access credential is created, copy or download it in the pop-up window.
