After the certificate is successfully imported into the certificate management console, you can use it for signature verification. If a certificate is no longer needed, you can disable, revoke, or delete the certificate on the console.
Disable a Certificate
You can disable a certificate if you do not need it temporarily. The information of the disabled certificate is retained. You can enable the certificate again if you require it later.
1. Log in to the KMS console;
2. In the navigation bar at the top of the page, select the area where the key is located.
3. In the left navigation bar, click Certificate Management. Locate the target certificate in the certificate list, and click Disable in the operation column;
4. In the dialog box, click OK.
Revoke a Certificate
If a certificate is revoked by the certificate authority (CA), you can change the status of the certificate to Revoked in the KMS console. After the certificate is revoked, its information is retained. You can view the information later. However, you cannot enable or disable the certificate.
1. Locate the target certificate and click Revoke in the operation column.
2. In the dialog box, click OK.
Delete a certificate
You can delete a certificate if you no longer need Certificates Manager to manage it. Before deleting a certificate, ensure that it is not used for signature verification.
1. Click Delete Certificate in the operation column.
2. In the dialog box, click OK.
