What is the Billing Method of KMS?
KMS supports subscription-based billing mode:
Annual/monthly subscription: An annual/monthly subscription means that you need to pay upfront for the amount of time you expect to use the service. You can choose a proper subscription-based service edition (basic edition or enterprise edition) based on your business needs, and pay a one-time fee for one-month/multiple-month/one-year/multiple-year service usage. After successful payment, KMS service resources will be allocated until they are reclaimed by the system after the retention period.
What Are the Billing Items of KMS?
The subscription-based KMS contains a basic edition and an enterprise edition.
Basic Edition provides software protection service and allows customers to build their dedicated keystores for high scalability, and extremely simple cryptographic operation APIs for secure and fast application integrations.
It provides hardware protection services by using cryptographic devices certified by China's State Cryptography Administration at the bottom layer to provide resource management and cryptographic operation services with higher security and compliance levels, meeting the testing and certification criteria of regulators.
Can the Key Be Decrypted After the Service Expires?
No. After expiration, KMS will freeze the service, and all access to KMS will be restricted. The decryption API cannot be invoked.
