Overview

Resource Packages

Resource packages are yearly/monthly packages provided by ZOS for different billing items. You can buy corresponding quotas and durations to offset resource usage on billing items including the storage capacity, request number, and traffic. It applies to scenarios where you have stable business flows. This is a prepaid method.

Package Types

Multi-AZ storage package	Standard storage	Used to offset storage fees of Standard storage with multi-AZ redundancy. Minimum capacity: 40 GB.
	Infrequent Access (IA) storage	Used to offset storage fees of IA storage with single-AZ redundancy. Minimum capacity: 40 GB.
Outbound traffic package (Internet)	Standard storage	Used to offset fees on outbound traffic over the Internet by downloading data from Standard storage. Minimum capacity: 50 GB.
	Infrequent Access (IA) storage	Used to offset fees on outbound traffic over the Internet by downloading data from IA storage. Minimum capacity: 50 GB.
	Archive storage	Used to offset fees on outbound traffic over the Internet by downloading data from Archive storage. Minimum capacity: 50 GB.
Request number package	Standard storage	Used to offset fees on requests sent to Standard storage. Minimum capacity: 10,000 requests.
	Infrequent Access (IA) storage	Used to offset fees on requests sent to IA storage. Minimum capacity: 10,000 requests.
	Archive storage	Used to offset fees on requests sent to Archive storage. Minimum capacity: 10,000 requests.
Retrieval traffic package	Infrequent Access (IA) storage	Used to offset fees on retrieval traffic of downloading data from IA storage. Minimum capacity: 50 GB.
	Archive storage	Used to offset fees on retrieval traffic of restoring data from Archive storage. Minimum capacity: 50 GB.
Retrieval request package	Infrequent Access (IA) storage	Used to offset fees on retrieval requests sent to IA storage by calling get object, head object, and download object APIs. Minimum capacity: 10,000 requests.
	Archive storage	Used to offset fees on retrieval requests sent to Archive storage for restoring data. Minimum capacity: 10,000 requests.

Notes

You must activate for the ZOS service before you can buy resource packages.
A resource package cannot be shared among resource pools. You need to purchase a separate resource package for each resource pool. The resource package takes effect immediately upon payment.
If your usage exceeds the monthly package quota, the billing mode will change to pay-as-you-go automatically. A newly purchased resource package cannot cover the already generated resource usage.
Annual packages can only be used to offset billing items for the storage capacity of standard storage and outbound traffic over the Internet.
You can buy multiple packages at the same time or unsubscribe from packages. However, you cannot upgrade a resource package.
When you buy multiple resource packages of the same type, the packages that expire earlier are used first.
For resource packages on outbound traffic over the Internet and the request number, you cannot unsubscribe from the packages in the same month of your subscription.

Buying Resource Packages

Recommendations

Before buying resource packages, it's recommended that you first decide the package type and your target region. Then, you can buy resource packages based on your actual business needs.

Each resource package is specific to a region. Please select a proper region.
Please select a resource package type most suitable for your business.
Choose resource package specifications based on your actual business traffic.

Steps

On the homepage of the eSurfing Cloud portal, click Console , and enter your username and password.
In the upper menu of the console, click the and select a target resource pool node.
On the homepage, go to Storage > Zettabyte Obejct Storage .
In the upper-right corner of the ZOS console, click Resource Package Management .
Click Subscribe to Resource Package . On the page that appears, select the type, specifications, and quantity of the resource packages and click ** Buy Now** .

Viewing Resource Package Details

You can view usage details of your resource packages in the ZOS console.

Steps

On the homepage of the eSurfing Cloud portal, click Console , and enter your username and password.
In the upper menu of the console, click the icon and select a target resource pool node.
On the homepage, go to Storage > Zettabyte Obejct Storage .
In the upper-right corner of the ZOS console, click Resource Package Management .
On the page that is displayed, you can view details ofyour resource packages, including the package type, specifications, remainingquota, effective time, and expiration time. You can also renew or unsubscribe from packages on this page.

Renewing Resource Packages

You can renew to extend the validity of your resource packages.

Before You Begin

You have bought at least one ZOS resource package. For more information about buying resource packages, refer to Ordering Resource Packages.

Steps

On the homepage of the eSurfing Cloud portal, click Cocsole , and enter your username and password.
In the upper menu of the console, click the icon and select a target resource pool node.
On the homepage, go to Storage > Zettabyte Obejct Storage .
In the upper-right corner of the ZOS console, click Resource Package Management .
Click Renew corresponding to the target resource package.
Specify the renewal duration and click Pay Now .
Confirm the information and complete the payment.

Unsubscribing from Resource Packages

Before Unsubscription

Please make sure you understand the related unsubscription rules. For more information, refer to Unsubscription Rules.
The pay-as-you-go billing mode does not support unsubscription. If you want to stop using ZOS, delete your data to stop billing.
Your data stored in ZOS will not be affected after unsubscription. If your account has no available package, you will be billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.
For resource packages on outbound traffic over the Internet and the request number, you cannot unsubscribe from the packages in the same month of your subscription.

Steps

Operations in the console

On the homepage of the eSurfing Cloud portal, click Cocsole , enter your username and password.
In the upper-right corner of the ZOS console, click Resource Package Management .
On the Resource Package Management page, click Unsubscribecorresponding to the target resource package.
Specify the reason for unsubscription, confirm the refund amount, and then click Unsubscribe . Once unsubscribed, the refund will be sent back to your payment account.

Viewing Consumption Details

You can view specific bills of ZOS in the Cost Center .

Procedure

On the homepage of the eSurfing Cloud portal, click Log In and enter your username and password.
In the upper-right corner, go to Me > Cost .
In the left-side navigation pane, click Consumptions and select the target bill.
View billing details, including the due payment and total bills for the current month. You can select to view monthly bills by product type or billing mode.
Click Billing Statements to view specific bills for subscription-based and pay-as-you-go services. For subscription-based bills, resource package orders can be sorted by month. For pay-as-you-go bills, hourly bills are displayed by resource pool and billing item. You can sort the bills by month.
Click Bill Details to query bills by usage amount, resource, and product.
