Operation Scenarios

The ZOS Console provides users with a simple operation interface, enabling users to directly access object services through the Console without programming.

Prerequisites

The zettabyte object storage (ZOS) service has been activated in your region.

Operation Steps

Step 1: Creating a bucket

You can create a bucket on the ZOS Console. A bucket is a container for storing objects in ZOS. You need to create a bucket before you can store data in ZOS.

①　On the ZOS Console, click Create Bucket in the upper left corner.

②　Configure bucket parameters, including bucket name, storage type, read-write permission, and whether to enable server encryption.

③　Click OK to finish creating the bucket.

Step 2: Upload objects

You can upload local files directly to the specified location of ZOS over the Internet. Any type of file can be uploaded: texts, images, videos, etc.

① On the ZOS Console, click the bucket to go to the Overview page.

② Select File Management and click Upload File .

③ Select a local file to upload to the ZOS.

④ Click OK to finish uploading.

Step 3: Download objects

You can download files stored in ZOS to a local directory on the ZOS Console.

① On the ZOS Console, click the bucket to go to the Overview page.

② Click the File Management page, select the file to download, and click the Download button.

③ Click OK .
