Currently, you can get a free backup capacity of the same size as your subscribed storage capacity. You will not be charged with any backup fee within this quota. For the backup capacity exceeding this quota, you are charged based on the unified standard of ZOS. Hourly backup fee = (Backup capacity - Free capacity) x Unit price for backup.
For example, if you subscribe to a storage space with 100 GB capacity for two months, you can enjoy a free 100 GB backup space within the two months. If your backup space exceeds the 100 GB capacity, like 150 GB, the exceeded 50 GB is billed based on the 0.000173 RMB/GB/hour unit price.
Besides, your backup files are retained according to your backup policy. During the retention period, capacities occupied by the backup files are billed based on the unified standard above.
² Note:
The backup service provided by Elastic Volume Service (EVS) does not involve any free quota. Therefore, ZOS is more recommended for backup.
