1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud console and go to Console. In the service list, choose Database > RDS SQL Server to visit the management page of SQL Server. Then, go to the Instance Management page of the RDS SQL Server.
2. Choose More > Modify Instance Specifications corresponding to the target DB instance.
3. On the Modify Specifications page, you can view the current instance specification and specify the new instance specification. Confirm all information and click Submit to complete the payment. The instance specification is now changed.
4. Go back to the instance list and check the instance status, which is Expanding.
² Description
● The scaling operation cannot be canceled once carried out. If you want to change the scaling specification, you need to initiate another specification change after current scaling ends.
● For more information about specification change rules of subscription resources, refer to eSurfing Cloud Help Center > Billing Center > Changes > Subscription Services Upgrade/Downgrade Rules.
● SQL Server instances cannot be downgraded or scaled in. Only scaling out is supported.
