Overview of Packages and Versions
eSurfing Cloud AccessOne EdgeWan supports subscription in yearly/monthly billing mode. This section introduces the application scope and supported functions of different package versions.
AccessOne EdgeWan has the basic version and customized version.
Application Scope
The following table describes the application scope of different versions. In general, it is recommended that you choose the basic version for SME websites.
Note:
The customized version does not support on-line subscription. To place an order, please submit a ticket to eSurfing Cloud's technical support team.
| Accelerated Region | Chinese mainland | Global (excluding Chinese mainland) | Global |
| Price (RMB/Month) | 2000 | 3000 | 3400 |
| Application Scenario | It is suitable for TCP/UDP and other Layer 4 acceleration scenarios where both the access requests and the origin servers located are in the Chinese mainland. | It is applicable to the following three acceleration scenarios: 1. Layer 4 TCP/UDP acceleration where the origin server is located abroad and the access requests are generated in Chinese mainland .2. Layer 4 TCP/UDP acceleration where the origin server is located in Chinese mainland and the access requests are generated overseas. 3. Layer 4 TCP/UDP acceleration where the origin server is located abroad and the access requests are generated overseas. | AccessOne accelerates your Layer 4 TCP/UDP applications globally, without restricting the access region or origin server location. |
| Uplink and Downlink Bandwidth/Traffic | Chinese mainland: 10 Mbps/1 TB | Global (excluding the Chinese mainland): 5 Mbps/ 500 GB | Chinese mainland: 2.5 Mbps/250 G Global (excluding the Chinese mainland): 2.5 Mbps/ 250 GBB |
| Four-layer DDoS Protection | Protection Traffic: 40 Gbp Protection Counts: 1s | Unlimited Protection | Unlimited Protection |
| Number of Accelerated Domain Names of IP Application Accelerator (IPA) | 1 | 1 | 1 |
| Number of Ports | 5 | 5 | 5 |
Functions of Different Versions
The following table describes the support of the main functional modules in different accelerated regions in the basic version.
• √: indicates that this feature is supported in the current version.
• ×: indicates that this feature is not supported in the current version.
| Category | Function Module | Description | Chinese mainland | Global (excluding Chinese mainland) | Global |
| DDoS Protection | Network-layer DDoS Protection | It actively defends against IP and port DDoS attacks. | Peak Value of Protection: 40 Gbps Protection Counts: 1 | Unlimited Protection | Unlimited Protection |
| Acceleration protocols | TCP/UDP Acceleration | It accelerates all applications based on TCP/UDP protocols as well as applications adopting private protocols. | √ | √ | √ |
| HTTPS Certificate-free Acceleration | The HTTPS protocol enables acceleration without certificates, ensuring data security against tampering. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Access Control | IP Trustlist/Blocklist | It uses an IP trustlist or blocklist to identify and filter visitors and block illegal access. | √ | √ | √ |
| Back-to-Origin | Domain Name/IP Back-to-Origin Method | It supports domain name or IP back-to-origin method. | √ | √ | √ |
| Origin Server Load Balancing | It supports multiple origin server load balancing policies such as standby, optimum first, weight-based polling, and hash based on client’s IP. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Log Management | Downloading Logs | By default, you can download logs within 15 days, and you can customize extension service. | √ | √ | √ |
| Performance Optimization | Content Optimization | By using the intelligent compression technology, it optimizes transmission content and improves transmission efficiency. | √ | √ | √ |
| Multi-route Transmission | The multi-route transmission feature improves data transmission efficiency especially in scenarios with great fluctuations in terms of the quality of a single path. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Intelligent Routing | Real-time Detection | Real-time detection is conducted between the POPs to obtain the current network status, which is reported to the intelligent routing center as the basis for the routing. | √ | √ | √ |
| Fast Routing | AccessOne detects the RTTs in real time between POPs and uses the eSurfing Cloud self-developed optimal link algorithm to obtain the optimal transmission route to ensure effective back-to-origin. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Prudent Routing | AccessOne detects the RTTs and packet loss in real time between POPs and uses the eSurfing Cloud self-developed optimal link algorithm to obtain the optimal transmission route to ensure effective back-to-origin. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Reliable Transmission | Multi-point Coverage | The edge nodes adopt multi-point coverage to avoid access failures caused by single-node failures and improve the reliability. | √ | √ | √ |
| Zero Latency Switching | When the edge node is connected to the next hop node, AccessOne switches to other back-to-source links with zero latency if a failure is detected at the hop node. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Usage Statistics | Bandwidth Statistics | It provides a bandwidth trend chart within the query range and shows the information of uplink bandwidth, downlink bandwidth, and the total uplink and downlink bandwidth. | √ | √ | √ |
| Traffic Statistics | It provides a traffic trend chart within the query range and shows the information of uplink traffic, downlink traffic, and the total uplink and downlink traffic. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Number of Connections | It provides a trend chart of the number of connections and concurrent connections within the query range. | √ | √ | √ | |
| By Region/ISP | It provides the statistics within the time range on traffic for different operators and regions, traffic proportion, bandwidth peak, number of connections, connection proportion, and peak number of concurrent connections. | √ | √ | √ | |
| Domain Name Rankings | It provides the statistics of TOP domain names within the query time range and displays the corresponding data such as traffic value, traffic proportion, bandwidth peak, peak time, number of connections and its proportion, peak values of concurrent connections, and time for peak values of concurrent connections. | √ | √ | √ | |
