Introduction to User Management

Prerequisites

            The user has joined the organization.

            You need to have the permission to go to the User Management page. For menu permissions, see Permission Description.

Precautions

            When you enable and log in to the DMS platform, the eSurfing Cloud master account creates an organization and automatically registers as a super administrator (one eSurfing Cloud master account corresponds to one organization).

            When a sub-account under the eSurfing Cloud master account logs into the DMS platform, it automatically registers and initializes as a ordinary user of the organization under the current master account.

            You can have more than one eSurfing Cloud account under one organization. Similarly, you can join more than one organization with one eSurfing Cloud account.

Inviting Users

1.      Log in to DMS.

2.      On the left menu bar, click Security Center > User Management in succession.

3.      Click Invite User button on the User Management page, and the Invite User pop-up window appears. Enter the Email information on the pop-up window.

          Note

          The invited user had successfully logged in to DMS with a registered eSurfing Cloud account.

4.      Select User Role, and click Send Verification Code.

5.      Wait for the user to receive the invitation email, enter the verification code, and click OK to successfully invite the user to join the organization.

User Details

1.      Log in to DMS.

2.      On the left menu bar, click Security Center > User Management in succession.

3.      Click User Name in the User List, and the User Details pop-up window appears for viewing details.

Editing Users

1.      Log in to the DMS Console.

2.      On the left menu bar, click Security Center > User Management in succession.

3.      In the user list, find the user to be edited, and click the Edit button in the Operate column to the right of the user. Then, the User Details pop-up window appears.

  1. In the Edit pop-up      window, edit the user-related information as follows:

          Description

          The super administrator cannot edit information. To modify the user name, go to Personal Center > Personal Information on the left sidebar for editing.

Deleting Users

1.      Log in to DMS.

2.      On the left menu bar, click Security Center > User Management in succession.

3.      In the user list, find the user to be deleted, and click the Delete button in the Operate column on the right side of the user. Then, the Confirm Deletion box appears.

4.      Click the OK button to delete the target user.

Querying Users

1.      Log in to DMS.

2.      On the left menu bar, click Security Center > User Management in succession.

3.      There is a condition filter box at the top of the page. Click Query to filter the target users by the content of the filter condition.

4. Click the Reset button to clear the contents of the filter box and load all users under the current organization.
