Prerequisites
• If you want to add and favor an instance in the organization, make sure that the instance already exists in the organization.
• If you want to add and favor a new instance, you need to enter it into the database using database connection information.
• For the types of databases supported to be entered, see Adding a Cloud Database and Adding a Public Network/Directly Connected Database.
Adding and Favoring an Instance Using the Left Instance List Navigation
1. On the left menu bar, click Instance List.
2. On the navigating page of the Instance List, click 
to open the Add and Favor pop-up window.
3. You can add and favor a new instance. For details about how to add a new instance, see Adding a Cloud Database and Adding a Public Network/Directly Connected Database.
² Description
When selecting a target instance from the instances in the organization, favorite instances are only displayed and cannot be selected.
Adding and Favoring an Instance Using the Instance Metadata Page
1. On the left menu bar, select Data Source Management > Instance Metadata.
2. In the Instance List, click 
in the target instance row to add and favor the instance.
