Step 1: Select an operating system.

When you select a Linux operating system, note that the environment must meet the following requirements:

Mainstream 64-bit Linux operating system versions are supported.

  • Oracle: 5, 6, and 7

  • RHEL: 5, 6, and 7

  • CentOS: 5, 6, 7, and 8

  • Ubuntu: 10-19

  • SUSE: 9-15

  • Debian: 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10

  • OpenSUSE: 10-15

  • NeoKylin: 6 and 7

  • YHKylin: 4

  • Redflag: 9

  • Deepin: 15

  • iSoft: 4

  • A Curl program with a minimum version of 7.10 is installed in the system. (Curl is a downloader.)

  • The Cron task scheduling service is enabled in the system.

  • The OpenSSL version is not lower than 0.9.8o.

  • Make sure that the firewall of directly connected hosts can communicate with the Qingteng server.

  • Make sure that the hosts connected through the proxy are connected to the SOCKS5 proxy service of the management server.

When Crontab tasks are not allowed in the system, use the solution described in the system FAQ, as shown in the following figure.

Step 2: Set host information.


  • Communication protocol: You can select IPv4 or IPv6.

  • Connection method: You can select direct connection or proxy connection.

  • Service group of the host: You can select the service group of the host on which the agent is installed.You can click Service Group Management to directly go to the service group page for managing service groups.

  • Make sure that the hosts connected through the proxy can communicate with Server Security Defender.

  • When filling in the proxy address, enter the address in the format of Domain name: Port or IPv4 address:Port. Example:

Step 3: Follow the installation guide.

In Linux, you can only use the command to install the agent, as shown in the following figure.After steps 1 and 2 are completed, click Generate Command, enter the generated command in cmd, and run it as an administrator.
