Before installing the agent, check whether the server on which the agent will be installed is supported.This section describes how to install the Server Security Defender agent.
Before You Begin
The agent can be installed in mainstream 64-bit operating systems. For more information about the supported operating systems, see the product specifications.
How to Install the Agent
After logging in to the eSurfing Cloud platform, go to Control Center > Server Security Defender, locate the order, and then click Console to go to the Server Security Defender console. In the console, choose General Functions > System Settings > Agent Installation to go to the agent installation page. On this page, select the corresponding operating system, set the host information, and install the agent as prompted.
Precautions
Linux: You can only use the command to install the agent.
Windows: You can use one of the following methods to install the agent: install command, installation package, or command + installation package.
(1) Command: This method is suitable for batch installing the agent on multiple hosts. (The PowerShell component is required for directly connected hosts.)
(2) Installation package: This method is suitable for installing the agent on a single host. You can use the UI to install the agent.
(3) Installation package + Command: This method is suitable for batch installing the agent on multiple hosts. In this method, the installation package is distributed to each host and the commands are then batch executed to install the agent.
