The Asset Inventory module aims to help you automatically create fine-grained asset information from the security perspective. It supports accurately identifying and dynamically detecting assets at the service layer and clearly displays the protected assets.Using the agent-server architecture, it can make an inventory of key assets of more than 10 types of hosts, and automatically identify more than 800 types of business applications. In addition, it offers excellent scalability.
The asset inventory feature offers two types of views: Overview and Hierarchical View.
Overview
The Overview tab page, as the homepage of the Asset Inventory module, visualizes asset information to offer an intuitive overview of your assets. This helps you better understand your assets and effectively make informed decisions.
The Overview page consists of the following parts:
Host statistics: shows the information about the managed hosts, including the run status of the agent, installation progress changes, and related management attributes.
Core assets statistics: offers an overview of key assets (accounts, ports, processes, software applications, web sites, and databases) in the hosts, showing the total number of assets and the number of assets that require special attention.
Asset distribution: shows the distribution and statistics of the preceding specific assets, including basic assets, business applications, and web assets.
Resource consumption: shows the consumption of host resources, including the system load, memory usage, and disk usage.
