Cloud Log Service is a cloud-native log observation and analysis platform made by eSurfing Cloud. It provides large-scale, low-cost, centralized platform services for massive log data of applications, can collect, process, query and analyze logs, and has visualization, alarm and delivery for consumption capabilities, fully meeting application scenarios such as application R&D, O&M, service monitoring, and business analysis.

Terms

Before using Cloud Log Service, you need to know the following basic concepts.

Terms	Description
Log Project	A log project is a resource unit for managing the log service. Usually, the logs of an independent project/business can be mapped to a log project. Each log project can contain multiple log units.
Log Unit	Log unit is the basic unit for collecting, storing, retrieving, and analyzing log data. Log data is managed as log units. Usually, logs from one application/service can be collected into one log unit.
Log	Logs are recorded data generated during the running of an application system, including user operations, interface access, and system errors. Usually, logs are stored as texts on the device of the application system.
Collector	The log collection tool provided by Cloud Log Service.
Host Group	A host group is a set of cloud servers for which you want to collect logs. It is a virtual group. Cloud Log Service manages all cloud servers that require log collection through the collector as host groups.
Collection Configuration	Collection configuration refers to the policy of the collector to execute log collection, including file collection path, and delimiter mode.

Supports collection of logs from cloud servers and container applications, implements the central collection of log data, batch capture and reporting, and multi-channel data processing to improve collection efficiency, and supports dynamic configuration of collection rules for easy management.

• Log Retrieval and Analysis

Supports second-level log query, provides fuzzy, time, and contextual query methods, supports various statistical analysis scenarios, and supports visual dashboards for you to observe various data in real time to improve analysis efficiency.

• Data Processing

Supports the processing of various complex data, including data normalization, desensitization and filtering.

• Log Alarms

Supports custom alarm rules, monitors log data, and supports multiple alarm channels to detect problems in time.

Log Delivery

Supports deliveries of log data to Zettabyte Object Storage (ZOS) for persistent storage.

After registering cloud account with your real name, enter the details page of the cloud log service product and click "Order Now" to activate it.
