Overview
Log project is the resource management unit for Cloud Log Service. You can use log projects to manage data in different applications, products, or projects. For each log project, you can create multiple log units, through which you can access Cloud Log Service resources. This section describes how to manage log projects with the console.
Procedure
Create a Log Project
· Log in to the Cloud Log Service console.
· In the log project column on the right side of the Overview page, click Create Project; or click Log Project in the left menu bar and click Create Project on the page.
· In the Create Project pop-up window, enter the name of the project. The project name must be globally unique.
· Click Save to create the log project.
Note:
A log project name is globally unique in the current resource pool and cannot be modified after creation
Editing Log Projects
· In the left menu bar of the console, click Log Project.
Find the log project you need to edit on the page and click Edit.
· In the Edit Log Project pop-up window, you can modify the remarks of the log project, but cannot modify the project name.
· Click Save to save your edits.
Delete Log Project
· In the left menu bar of the console, click Log Project.
· Locate the log project you want to delete on the page and click Delete.
· In the pop-up prompt box, click OK to delete the log project.
