Overview

eSurfing Cloud Log Service can display query and analysis results in statistical charts, allowing you to understand the application running status conveniently and intuitively. On the statistical chart page, select the chart type you need. See below for the currently supported chart types.

Chart Type	Application Scenario
Chart	A table chart is a common way for data display. Data can be collected and compared through data structuring. This chart type is applicable to most scenarios.
Bar Chart	A bar chart describes the classified data and intuitively compares the size of each classification item. This chart type is applicable to classified statistics, such as the number of occurrences of each error code type in the past day.
Sequence Chart	A sequence chart requires the time sequence field to organize and aggregate metrics based on the time sequence. This chart type intuitively reflects the changes in metrics over time.
Pie Chart	A pie chart shows the proportion of each category. The proportion of each category is measured by the sector size. This chart type is applicable to scenarios such as error code proportion analysis.

Table Charts

This section describes the table charts in Cloud Log Service.

Table charts are one of the most common data display types and the most basic tool for organizing and sorting data. By sorting data, you can quickly reference and analyze the data. By default, the data obtained through the query and analysis syntax is displayed in a table chart.

Before You Begin

Log collection has been configured and logs have been collected.

Procedure

Log in to the Cloud Log Service console. Select the target log project and log unit, and click Retrieve Log to enter the search page.
Use the interaction mode to retrieve filtered logs (optional). Or directly use the statement mode and enter the SQL statement for statistical analysis. For the SQL syntax, see SQL Syntax.
Click Statistical Analysis and select an analysis scenario. For analysis scenario operations, see Log Analysis.
Click the Retrieve/Analyze button and the results will be presented in a table chart by default.
In Chart Settings on the right, the following table chart parameter configuration is supported.

Parameter	Description
Chart Name	You can specify the chart name.

Bar Charts

This section describes the bar chart in Cloud Log Service.

A bar chart describes the classified data and intuitively compares the size of each classification item. This chart type is applicable to classified statistics, such as the number of occurrences of each error code type in the past day.

In Chart Settings on the right, the following bar chart parameter configurations are supported.

Parameter	Description
Chart Name	Specify the chart name.
X-axis Field	Select field data as the X-axis in the drop-down box. Only one character of data can be selected.
Y-axis Field	Select field data as the Y-axis in the drop-down box. You can select one or more pieces of field data.

Sequence Charts

This section describes the sequence charts in Cloud Log Service.

A sequence chart is used for trend analysis, usually to show the trend of a set of data over an ordered data category (usually a continuous time interval). It can visually display the changing trend of data. In a sequence chart, you can clearly observe the changes in data within a specific period, which is reflected in the following aspects:

Increment or decrement
Increase/Decrease rate
Regularity of increase/decrease (such as periodic change)
Peak and valley values

Therefore, sequence charts are the best choice for analyzing data changing trends over time.

Pie Charts

This section describes the pie charts in Cloud Log Service.

A pie chart shows the proportions of different categories. Different categories are compared by their respective sector sizes. A pie is divided into multiple sectors based on the proportion of each category. The entire pie indicates the total volume. Each sector indicates the proportion of the category to the total. The sum of all sectors is 100%. A pie chart contains the following elements:

Chart Name	Specify the chart name.
Category	Select the field data as the category in the drop-down box. It is recommended to use strings as the category.
Data Column	Select the field data as a numerical value in the drop-down box.

Flow Charts

A flow chart is a stacked area chart laid out around a central axis. Different category information is represented by lines of different colors. The time attributes in the original data set will be mapped to the X-axis by default and displayed in a three-dimensional relationship.

In Chart Settings on the right, the following flow chart parameter configurations are supported.

Parameter	Description
Chart Title	Specify the title of the line chart.
Flow Chart Type	Currently, only line chart display is supported.
X-axis field	Select the target field as the x-axis. By default, the first column of data is selected as the x-axis field.
Y-axis field	Select the target field as the y-axis. By default, data other than the first column is used as the y-axis field.
Aggregation Column	Select the field that needs to be aggregated in the third dimension.
