You can customize alarm rules on the Cloud Log Service console and configure different rules for different log projects and log units. The applied alarm rules periodically execute monitoring tasks and execute retrieval and analysis on the specified log units. When the retrieval results meet the trigger conditions, an alarm notification will be sent so that users can know about the issues in time.

Terms	Description
Alarm Rules	A management unit for monitoring alarms. A completed alarm rule contains information such as the log unit objects for monitoring, trigger conditions, check frequency, notification policy, and alarm content.
Monitored Object	For log units that require alarm monitoring, you can set retrieval and analysis conditions for these log units, and the system will check whether the results meet the trigger conditions.
Trigger Conditions	When the retrieval results of the monitored log unit meet the trigger conditions you set, an alarm notification will be triggered. If the trigger conditions are no longer met, the alarm will not be triggered.
Check Frequency	The execution cycle of an alarm rule. Supports fixed frequency and fixed time.
Notification Group	The notification object. You can set SMS, email contacts, E-link groups, and WebHook integrations. You can send target alarm notifications to the target notification objects through notification policies.
Notification Policy	Notification policies include notification objects, notification templates, and notification periods. When an alarm is triggered, as long as it does not meet the silent policy, alarm information will be sent to the corresponding notification objects through the corresponding channel based on the notification policy.
