The eSurfing Cloud SFS delivers storage services based on the standard POSIX file interface, enabling seamless integration of existing applications and tools with file storage. It is compatible with Linux and Windows operating systems.

Compared with NAS, SFS has the following advantages:

Ÿ    Elastic scaling: SFS automatically scales up storage capacity on demand without manual hardware or configuration adjustments, making it highly suitable for handling large-scale data and rapid-growing storage needs.

Ÿ    High availability: SFS typically features high availability and redundancy mechanisms to maintain data accessibility during gateway hardware faults. It offers data backup and replication to enhance data security and reliability.

Ÿ    Flexibility and programmability: SFS provides rich APIs and tools, making it easy for developers to integrate and manage storage services It also supports various protocols and access modes, such as Network File System (NFS) and Common Internet File System (CIFS), facilitating easy access and operation of storage data by applications.

Ÿ    Cost-effectiveness: Compared with traditional NAS, SFS provides two billing modes: Pay-As-You-Go and Annual/Monthly Package. This flexible billing mode reduces storage costs and eliminates the overhead of purchasing and maintaining hardware devices.
