Protocol-related Restrictions
SFS supports NFS and CIFS protocol types. However, different resource pools have varying capabilities, and the real-time display of the resource pool prevails.
See the table below for the protocol-related restrictions.
Restriction Item | NFS Protocol | CIFS Protocol |
Protocol version restrictions | It is recommended to use v3 for mounting. | The CIFS protocol supports SMB2.1 and SMB3.0 versions. |
Recommended mounting host systems | Mount an NFS file system to the Linux cloud server. | Mount a CIFS file system to the Windows cloud server |
Product Usage Restrictions
To obtain better file system performance, it is recommended to use the operating systems listed in Supported Operating Systems, which have passed the compatibility test.
CIFS file systems cannot be mounted to Linux cloud servers.
Currently, SFS does not support cross-region use.
