Application Scenarios
To share files, you must mount a file system on the ECS by adding a VPC. SFS supports configuring multiple VPCs, enabling cloud servers from different VPCs to share access to the same file system.
Note:
You can add up to 20 available VPCs for each file system.
When adding VPCs in some regions, you need to select the corresponding permission group.
Adding VPCs
1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Console, click in the upper left corner of the console, and select a region.
2. Select Storage Console > Scalable File Service. Log in to the Scalable File Service page, click the Operation bar under File System or the name of the destination file system to go to the Details page, and click Add VPC.
3. In the pop-up Add VPC dialog box, you can select the VPC and permission group to be bound in the drop-down list. If no VPCs are available, you need to apply one first by clicking Create VPC on the right.
4. Click OK to complete the addition.
5. After the addition is complete, you can see the bound VPC on the VPC tab of Details page. You can click Change Permission Group at the bottom of the Operation bar to change the permission group bound to the VPC.
Unbinding VPCs
1. Log in to the eSurfing Cloud Console, click in the upper left corner of the console, and select a region.
2. Select Storage Console > Scalable File Service. On the File System list page, click the file system name of the VPC to be unbound and go to the File System Details page.
3. On the VPC tab of the File System Details page, and click Unbind under the Operation bar of the VPC to be unbound.
4. On the pop-up page, click OK to complete the unbinding of the VPC.
