What is a permission group?
In SFS, each permission group represents a trustlist mechanism. You can create permission groups and rules that allow specified IP addresses or network segments to access the file system and grant different access permissions to different IP addresses or network segments. Only some resource pools support permission groups, and specific functions may vary depending on the console.
Default Permission Groups
Initially, each SFS automatically generates a default permission group, allowing any IP address to access the file system with the highest privileges. Modification or deletion of the default permission group is not supported.
Customizing Permission Groups
If the default permission group does not meet your business requirements, you can customize permission groups and rules to grant different access permissions to IP addresses or network segments to meet different access scenarios.
Usage Restrictions
You can use each eSurfing Cloud account to create up to 20 permission groups in a region.
You can add up to 400 rules to each permission group.
You can only create permission groups of the Proprietary Network type.
