This section describes how to scale up the storage space of RDS for MySQL.
Application Scenarios
You can scale up your storage space if the amount of data in your MySQL instance is too large but the data storage space is insufficient.
Prerequisites
The instance status is Running.
Restrictions
After the configuration change order is submitted, it cannot be canceled. Make sure that you carefully evaluate your service requirements before this operation.
The storage space type cannot be changed when scaling up the storage space.
The storage space can only be scaled up and cannot be scaled down.
The minimum change unit for the storage space scaling is 10 GB.
Procedure
1. In the upper right corner of the homepage of the eSurfing Cloud official website, select Console and log in to the Console interface.
2. Click 
in the upper left corner of the Console, and select Region and Project.
3. Select Database > Relational database... Go to the MySQL Console.
4. On the Instance Management page, select the specified instance, click More on the right, and select Storage Space Scaling. Go to the Storage Space Scaling interface, adjust the changed configuration, and click Buy Now to complete the storage space scaling.
