This section describes how to set the parameters in RDS for MySQL.
Application Scenarios
Database parameters are key configuration information for running the database system. Improper parameter settings may adversely affect business. The eSurfing Cloud RDS for MySQL has opened some parameters. To ensure optimal performance, you can change the parameter values in the instance depending on your service situation.
² Note
After some parameter values are changed, you need to restart the instance. Please carefully evaluate the impact of this operation on your service.
Do not change the parameter values of an instance when its state is Exception.
Changed parameter values will not take effect immediately. Please refresh the page later to view the changing results, or click the History button on the Parameter Setting page to view the changing results.
