2024-08-15 06:45:06

Note: This section will describe the as-per-use billing mode.

1、Billing Mode

(1)Upfront mode: Top up your eSurfing Cloud account in advance with balance not less than 20 USD. Then the system will settle your account as per use.

(2)Billing period: Billing by hours (based on Beijing time). Odd hours less than one hour shall be counted as one hour. Charges are deducted from the cash balance of your account. Users are advised to activate the service on the hour. Odd hours less than one hour shall be counted as one hour. You will also be charged on the hour even when you delete the service in advance.

For example: For example, if you activate the service at 1:01, it will be counted as one natural hour until 2:00. If you activate the service at 1:58, it will also be counted as one natural hour until 2:00, and your service will charged for one hour. Therefore, you are advised to activate the service a few minutes after the hour and delete it a few minutes before the hour to avoid the loss of your time.

2、Deleting Rules

(1)When the RDS is deleted, billing for CPU and memory usage will stop, while other related resources will continue to be billed.

(2)After the database is deleted, the data therein will not be retained and the resources will be immediately released.

3、Account Arrears

If the user account is in arrears, once the account is topped up, the system will automatically deduct the arrears first.

4、Reminder/Notification Rules

(1)Account arrears notification: When the user is in arrears, the system sends an arrears reminder on the first day to the user and sends an arrears reminder on the second day, fourth day and sixth day of arrears respectively.

(2)Reminder and notification method: Users are informed by means of email and SMS. Please pay attention to your SMS and email in time.

Billing by backup space

Note: This section will describe the billing mode by backup space.

5、Billing Mode

(1)When you subscribe to RDS instances, the quota of data storage space is the same as that of backup storage space by default, and users can scale up the data storage space and backup storage space respectively as needed in the later period. In addition, users can choose to store backup data in the ZOS (currently only Chongqing 2 resource pool is supported) when subscribing to instances.

  • If frozen instances are directly deleted, the existing data that is automatically backed up will be deleted at the same time, and the backup space will not be charged for automatic backup.

(2)If users choose to store backup data in the ZOS when subscribing to instances, the backup space will continue to be charged after instances are frozen. For billing details, please refer to ZOS billing description.
