This section describes how to enable and disable the RDS for MySQL instance release protection.
Application Scenarios
You can enable instance release protection to prevent the instance from being unsubscribed due to misoperation; you can disable this feature when you need to unsubscribe the instance.
Constraints and Restrictions
• You cannot unsubscribe from an instance when the instance release protection is enabled.
Procedure
1.In the upper right corner of the homepage of eSurfing Cloud official website, select Console and log in to the Console interface.
2.In the upper left corner of the Console, click
and select Region and Project.
3.Select Database > Relational database... and go to the MySQL Console.
4.On the Instance Management page, select the specified instance and click the instance name.
5.In the Release Protection module in the Basic Info tab, click Settings.
6.Click the Enable/Disable button in the pop-up box, and click OK to enable or disable the instance release protection.
