Wide Compatibility

Support for a wide range of platforms: CMS supports the migration of VMs between mainstream public cloud and private cloud platforms and migration between X86 and ARM homogeneous servers in and outside China. Resources can be easily migrated in a variety of environments without worrying about compatibility issues.

Adaptation to IT innovation: CMS supports IT innovation migration. For migration in an IT innovation environment (for details of the supported operating systems, see the compatibility table below), CMS can also provide perfect support and compatibility, making the migration process smoother and more efficient.

Coverage of major operating systems: CMS covers approximately 90 major operating systems of multiple versions and types, ensuring that you can migrate in various environments.

Flexible and Easy to Operate

Flexible configuration: On the User Service page of CMS, you can perform various actions flexibly. With simple configuration, you can adjust partition size, customize migration files, and manage migration tasks. This flexibility allows you to customize the migration process to meet the migration needs in different scenarios. You can perform various actions easily as needed on the User Service page to ensure that the migration process goes smoothly and meets your requirements.

Simple operation: You can complete a migration task in only four steps, that is, installing the Agent and PE system, configuring the task on the platform, stopping cyclic increment, and waiting for the target server to restart), simplifying the cloud migration process.

High Security

Data security: To ensure data security, CMS performs special processing on password and catenated string data. Hybrid encryption is combined with unique algorithms and the data traffic is individually encapsulated to ensure the security of the data during transmission.

Transmission security: The CMS is designed to suit migration scenarios, and monitoring traffic and data transmission traffic are distinguished during migration. A special reconnection mechanism is used to avoid the impact of network interruption on migration tasks during transmission, ensuring the stability and reliability of the migration process.

Connection security: To prevent illegal attacks from affecting migration tasks, the Agent on the PE side (server program) performs handshake authentication on client connections and disconnects or deletes illegal connections promptly to ensure port security. This also ensures sufficient use of handle resources to ensure that the migration process runs normally.

Proxy support: CMS also supports proxy or other means to reduce Intranet exposure and ensure migration security. This allows users to choose a more secure way for migration to adapt to the needs of different network environments.

Smart Monitoring and High Reliability

Performance monitoring: CMS monitors the real-time performance of source devices, including CPU usage, memory usage, disk read/write BPS, and IOPS. These monitoring metrics are displayed in charts on the page so that users can intuitively understand the running status of the source devices. In addition, CMS detects anomalies based on monitoring metrics and generates alarms promptly to ensure sufficient system resources and stable operation of services during migration. In addition, CMS provides users with recommended configurations based on performance monitoring metrics to evaluate the migration and help them make better decisions.

Traffic monitoring: CMS monitors and controls system traffic. If the system traffic exceeds the preset value or reaches the maximum capacity of the current system, CMS will reject some requests to protect the system. By doing so, you can avoid system overload and ensure a smooth migration.

Process monitoring: CMS monitors migration tasks in real time, including displaying the overall progress, phase progress, estimated completion time, and migration speed. With these monitoring metrics, users can clearly understand the progress of migration tasks. In addition, CMS can generate alarms for problems that may occur during migration. In this way, CMS can find and resolve the problems that may affect tasks promptly, ensuring the high reliability of tasks.
