(1) Use or register an eSurfing Cloud Account.

(2) Activate and use the CMS service.

1. Log in with your eSurfing Cloud account.

2. On the CMS homepage, click Activate Now to go to the console.

3. Click  at the top of the console, and select the region where your target server resources are located. In this example, Fuzhou 3 is selected.

Check whether the migration source meets operating system requirements.

Verify the operating system on which the migration source runs. For details, see Compatibility List.

Connect the migration network.

Migration Source

The source server must be capable of accessing the Internet and the CMS console normally. Note the port release status in the outbound direction of the security group. Do not limit the inbound direction of the security group.

If dedicated access or VPN is used, please buy and correctly configure the dedicated access or VPN.

Target server

For the target server system, TCP ports 8000 and 8001 must be allowed.

If EIP is used, please buy and correctly configure the EIP on the target server.

Note:

Allow ports 8000 and 8001 in the security group on the target server, of which port 8000 is specified as the IP address of the migration source to avoid dirty data injection into the port, which can cause migration failure. The open ports in the security group are the same as those in the operating system.
