1. In the CMS, users can create an evaluation task. In the left-side navigation pane, select Migration Evaluation and click Heterogeneous Evaluation. The Components | Applications page is displayed. Click Create Evaluation Task to go to the Discovery Mode Selection page, as shown in the following figure.
0. On the Discovery Mode Selection page, you can select a collection mode. Two modes are available for heterogeneous evaluation, including offline collection and online collection, as shown in the figure.
0. Click Offline Collection to go to the Information Collection page, where you can edit the evaluation task name and source type. Then click Next, as shown in the figure.
Evaluation Task Name
Create a task name to better identify the object and purpose of the evaluation report.
Source Type
The source type includes Alibaba Cloud and IDC offline templates.
Target Region
All resources in the same analysis task belong to the same target region.
Click Download Survey Template and fill in the template information, as shown in the figure.
