Test Connectivity
Test the connectivity between the target server and the migration source port.
1. Run the ping command on the migration source to access the target server and test the basic connectivity.
2. Test the working status of TCP ports 8000 and 8001 on the target server:
On any Windows-based devices installed with Telnet, open Windows PowerShell.
l Use the Telnet command to connect to the target server IP 8000.
l Use the Telnet command to connect to the target server IP 8001.
3. Test the working status of the port in the outbound direction of the migration source.
We recommend that you do not limit the port in the outbound direction of the migration source.
Connection Configuration
If the connection fails, set the security group on the CT-ECS and allow ports 8000 and 8001:
1. Go to the Security Group Configuration page.
2. Expand security groups and Click Add Rules.
3. Configure port 8000 in the inbound direction of the target server.
