Components | Applications - View Details

1. In the CMS, users can view details in Components | Applications on the Heterogeneous Evaluation page. In the left-side navigation pane, select Migration Evaluation, and click Heterogeneous Evaluation to go to the Components | Applications page. Then click View Details to go to the Heterogeneous Evaluation page, as shown in the figure. The system displays the relevant information, as shown in the figure.

 

 

0. The Heterogeneous Evaluation Details page mainly displays heterogeneous task information, components | applications information, items to confirm, and non-conforming items.

Heterogeneous Task Information

The evaluation task name, source type, target region, evaluation mode, recommended tool, and creation time are displayed, as shown in the figure.

 

Components | Applications Information

It displays component | application name, source server CPU vendor/target server CPU vendor, CPU/memory required for operation, acceptable average performance loss, source code package, software package, vendor support, on-cloud replacement, and open source information, as shown in the figure.

 

Items to Confirm

The platform will initially recommend the modules that can implement the heterogeneous migration tool for you according to the materials you submitted. The following shows the modules you must confirm. Please click the link next to the checkboxes () below the corresponding module. Use the link or pop-up window as a guide to confirm the corresponding items. After all checkboxes () in the same module are checked, the component you evaluate is suitable for using the corresponding heterogeneous migration tool. Please confirm items according to the actual situation, as shown in the figure.

 

Click Submit to go to the Components | Applications Evaluation Report page, as shown in the figure below.

 

 

Non-conforming Items

The system preliminarily determines that the function is unavailable and the reason according to the source information file you submitted. If this part is not correctly entered, please modify the information and submit the source information file again, as shown in the figure.
