How do I purchase and renew VBS?

Purchase:

VBS is only billed for the repository. It supports two billing modes: Payment by Volume (only supported in some regions) and Annual/Monthly Package. It is billed based on the repository capacity purchased by the customer.

Renew:

When the subscription time expires, the repository and backup will be in an expired status and cannot continue to be used. You can continue to use the service after paying for the renewal.

How is VBS billed?

VBS is only billed for the repository. It supports one billing modes: Annual/Monthly Package. The backup copy generated by VBS will be placed in the repository. Make sure that the capacity of the backup copy cannot exceed repository capacity.

What is the billing mode for a new EVS created by backups?

The billing mode is not fixed. The EVS provides customers with Payment by Volume and Annual/Monthly Package billing modes. For the differences between the two billing modes, please see EVS Billing Mode.

For a new EVS created by backups, you can select the billing mode based on your needs. Go to the Create Disk page and select Payment by Volume or Annual/Monthly Package under Payment Method. For specific operations, see Using Backups to Create an EVS.
