This section provides a detailed introduction to the monitoring indicators of Volume Backup Service (VBS) and how to view the VBS monitoring data.

Application Scenarios

After activating VBS, users can view the VBS monitoring indicators through Cloud Eye.

The monitoring indicators supported by VBS are as follows:

Monitoring Indicator	Indicator Description	Monitored Object
Repository Usage	This indicator tracks the current used capacity of the repository. Unit: GB	Repository
Repository Usage Rate	This indicator tracks the ratio of the current used capacity to the total capacity of the repository. Unit: %	Repository

Procedure

Log in to the Console.
Click in the upper left corner of the Console and select Region.
Select “Management and Deployment” and click “Cloud Eye Service” to enter the Monitoring Overview page.
Click the “Cloud Service Monitoring” dropdown menu and select “VBS Monitoring” to enter the Monitoring List page.
In the VBS monitoring list, you can view information such as the total capacity, used capacity, and usage rate of the repository.
Select the repository you want to monitor and click “View Monitoring Chart” to access the Repository Monitoring Details page.
